Call for Papers - Librarians' Information Literacy Annual Conference 2018

The Librarians’ InformationLiteracy (LILAC) Annual Conference, will be held in Liverpool from 4-6th April 2018.

LILAC welcomes proposals which address information literacy from all sectors and contexts. There are no specific themes but proposals should make explicit reference to your innovative practice or research in information literacy. Important dates:
·        Submissions must be received by Wednesday 15th November 2017 (17:00 GMT).
·        Call for papers deadline: 15 November 2017 (17:00 GMT)
·        Notification of acceptance of abstracts: 22 December 2017
·        Full presentation submission deadline: March 2018

Types of paper that can be submitted:
·        Masterclass – sharing good practices that you have refined, covering any aspect of information literacy instruction.
·        Lagadothon - showcase your prototypes for new and original IL products/games/innovations, with the winning prototype receiving financial support to enable further development.
·        Workshops - demonstrate new approaches and creativity in the classroom.
·        Short papers - report on recently completed projects, innovations or other developments in the field of information literacy.
·        Long papers – lengthier report to disseminate your findings with some detail.
·        Symposia – wider discussion or a debate on a topic or a theme.
·        Posters – share your data, research findings or an innovative application.
